Nick Bhambri

Nick began his career as an engineer with the Nooter Corporation in St. Louis. He subsequently moved to Detroit as a marketing specialist in the automotive industry for four years before returning to St. Louis in 1988 where he joined Heldor Industries and worked his way up to plant manager. In 1992 he went to work at the MECS subsidiary of Monsanto as a marketing engineer. He has served MECS in various capacities since then and in February of 2007 was named President of MECS. In 2005, Nick and other business leaders at MECS completed a leveraged buyout of MECS from Monsanto. In 2008, the company was sold to American Securities, a private equity firm. Nick assumed the additional role of CEO at this time. In 2012, Nick left the company after having successfully led the sale and transition of MECS to DuPont. He is a member of the American Securities Executive Council, a group of business executives and industry experts. Nick served on the board of MPG Performance Group Inc. (NYSE:MPG), the largest North American manufacturer of highly engineered, safety-critical forged components for automotive customers, principally in the light vehicle market, and a leading manufacturer of complex, highly engineered powdered metal powertrain components and wheel bearings. In addition, he is a senior advisor to AEA Investors LP and served on the board of Evoqua Water Technologies (NYSE: AQUA), a leader in water and wastewater treatment products, systems and services for industrial and municipal markets. Nick is a founder and managing partner of Structural Investment Holdings, a lower middle market private equity firm based in St. Louis, Missouri. He is also a past president of the EMBA alumni board and current member of the National Council for the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. Nick has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, both from Washington University in St. Louis.

Russell Williams

Russell Williams brings a 25-year track record of success in private equity, corporate development, and strategic planning. Prior to starting Starlit Capital , he led teams ranging from thematic design and deal origination, to corporate development and strategy at both public and private corporations. Most recently, Russell served as Vice President at Compass Group Equity Partners, a private equity firm located in St. Louis, Missouri. His primary responsibilities were thematic design, deal origination, and investor cultivation closing 8 transactions spanning 4 platforms since 2014. Russell’s thematic vision led to investments in electronics manufacturing services, industrial automation, food ingredient production, and an organically built platform of Midwestern-based veterinarian hospitals. Earlier in his career Russell served as Sr. Director of International Business Operations at Aegion Corporation (NASDAQ: AEGN), where he was responsible for the Latin American and Asian operations of the company’s Commercial and Structural business segment. During his tenure at Aegion, he led corporate development and business integration activities for all domestic and international acquisitions. Russell received his MBA from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honors society. He also holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Missouri.

Omri Margalit
OPERATIONS ADVISOR

Omri Margalit is an accomplished leader with expertise in supply chain management, business strategy, and product management across global technology and industrial sectors. Currently, Omri manages the supply chain for worldwide cloud infrastructure at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and is tasked with driving innovations that significantly enhance inventory management and forecast accuracy. Previously, Omri was a Senior Product Manager at Amazon in Luxembourg, where he restructured the EU supplier management framework, enabling scalable growth into new markets. His international experience also includes serving as a Strategy Manager at Samsung’s Seoul headquarters, where he advised top executives across the company. He played a pivotal role while at the Semiconductor Chief Strategy Office, developing the division’s COVID-19 strategy. Omri began his career in financial consulting, working on major infrastructure projects in the energy and transportation sectors at MNS-Consulting Ltd in Tel Aviv. He holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics from Ben-Gurion University. Omri is an avid alpine climber, who has led high-altitude expeditions globally.

Isaac Tipton
OPERATIONS ADVISOR

Isaac Tipton is an experienced leader in M&A, strategy, and operations within the industrial and manufacturing sectors. Isaac currently oversees new product development and marketing functions at VSP Technologies, a fluid sealing supplier and subsidiary of Diploma PLC, where he has been instrumental in driving successful commercial initiatives.   Previously, Isaac was a Senior M&A Manager at Diploma PLC, where he closed five acquisitions, significantly contributing to the company’s expansion into North America. Earlier in his career at HBM Holdings, Isaac managed corporate development and operations, led successful sell-side transactions, and spearheaded strategic initiatives that drove substantial value creation.   Isaac began his career as a Mechanical Engineer and later as a Product Manager at Honeywell. He holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a Mechanical Engineering degree from Purdue University. He lives in Richmond, Virginia, and enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and hiking.
